Jeff Hanson - Director of Golf
Jeff has been the Director of Golf at Red Sky since the inception and was instrumental in the design and organization of the club. He oversees all golf operations including theGolf Academy. Jeff attended the University of Wyoming on a full golf scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Management. Prior to becoming Director of Golf at Red Sky, Jeff held golf positions at Beaver Creek Golf Club, Cherry Hills Country Club, Glenmoor Country Club and Columbine Country Club. He has been a PGA of America member since 1991. Some of Jeff's professional accomplishments include; 2 time State Amateur Champion, Member of the University of Wyoming Golf Team, 1990 Colorado PGA assistants Champion and Player of the Year. 2 time State Amateur Champion, 6 time Qualifier for the National PGA Club Professional Championship. 10 time member of the Colorado PGA Cup Team. 1001 Colorado West Chapter Bill Strausbaugh Award Winner, 3 time Colorado West Chapter Merchandiser of the Year, 2005 Colorado PGA Match Play Champion, 3 time Colorado PGA Merchandiser of the Year, Board member of the First Tee Eagle County.
Jeff resides in Edwards with his wife Nancy and their children Collin, Ryan and Lindsay.
Jason Shattie - Director of Golf Maintenance
From design to creation Jason has been a integral member at Red Sky Ranch & Golf Club. A master of maintenance, Jason supervises all operations connected with design, construction, sodding, seeding, and ongoing maintenance for both courses at Red Sky Golf Club.
Chris Lai - PGA Head Professional
Chris oversees all of the Resort golf operations. A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Chris has been a PGA member since 2001. He has been in the golf business in the Vail Valley since 1991, working at Singletree/Sonnenalp Golf Club 1991-1999, Beaver Creek Golf Club 2000-2001, and at Red Sky Golf Club since the beginning in 2002. Chris also enjoys all of the winter activities the Vail Valley has to offer. He has held several positions in the ski industry since 1987 including Promotions Manager for the 1999 World Alpine Ski Championships and the Vail Valley Foundation, site manager for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, Athlete Liaison for the Ford Downhill Series and the Jeep King of the Mountain professional alpine downhill tours. He is also an alpine ski instructor for the Vail/Beaver Creek Ski and Snowboard School and active in all Birds of Prey Alpine World Cup events at Beaver Creek.
